This utility works in thew same way as the Internet Movie Tool. It enables you to "fast-start" movies on the WorldWide Web, with the QuickTime plug-in installed in your Web browser.
What it does
• Enables QuickTime movies created on a Macintosh to be read on computer platforms other than a Macintosh.
N.B.
MoviePlayer 2.5 that ships with QuickTime 2.5 prepares QuickTime movies so the plug-in can present the first frame of an embedded movie almost immediately, and can begin playing even before the movie has been completely downloaded.
Simply select the "make movie self-contained" and "make movie playable on other computers" items in the "Save As" dialog box.
